Our department aims to educate cultured, knowledgeable, qualified, dedicated, respectful, ethical, and modern teachers and academics who: Specialize in the position of Turkish language and literature within world languages and literatures, its development from its inception to the present, and the evaluation of its works. Can both interpret and create literary works. Are proficient in using computers, informatics, and information technologies. Strive to achieve international scientific standards. Our Vision;
As the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, we aim to investigate the universal contributions of Turkish language and literature to science, culture, and art, and to be a unique department through our interdisciplinary education. Additionally, we adopt it as our mission to study, preserve, develop, pass on to future generations, and promote to the modern world the language, culture, and literature that form the foundations of our national identity throughout their historical process.
